Of course it is a huge advantage to everybody that joins orkut. Here you get to make friends and learn a lot. you also get to network. I am yet to join the site though. Of course I will join it.

ADVANTAGE:It is a cool site to contact the friends ...We can see ur friend and also his/her friends...Have fun with them...! DISADVANTAGE:If u r using the contact pic of urs it can be downloaded by anyone and they will misuse it... So use it carefully and have the fun..!

Ofcourse Orkut is advantageous.....what will u do when u want to talk to or conatct to one of ur school buddies....the 1st thing u'll like to do IS TO SCRAP HIM....what is orkut wasnt there??? how can u get the contact no. or yahoo chat id of that person??? Ofcourse ORKUT rocks....and i want to thank orkut for creating such a communicable network around us

Every thing in this world has got there own pros and cons....Orkut is very much useful to find friends....but at the same time many people are posting scraps which are very abusive...

hmmm orkut has several advantages like getting knowing new good friends from different places,finding peoples which we have lost contact many years back and also the birthday reminder in orkut helps me a lot to wish them without forgetting, therefore these kind of things helps to maintain a good relationship with these peoples...But we should be aware that we do not use orkut for any confidentail matters like giving our mobile no,address to others and even uploading our photos can be avoided...If we take care of these does and dont's we can have a happy time orkutting...
