I have a problem on my Ipod Nano. The computer doesn't reconize it. No pop-up shows that hardware is inserted. I already downloaded the latest Itunes and follow the command on how to connect the device to bring it to disk mode. What just shows is that "OK to disconnect". I also tried to reset and open the configuration of my Ipod but still nothing happened. Any ideas or can you help me out how to make this stuff work in order for me to access it in the computer? Thanks!

I had the same problem a few weeks ago with my brothers IPOD. However his is a Zune. I tried the desktop computer that we have and it kepted coming up with the same messages and was not downloading the software that I needed. Do you have an older style computer? How long have you had it? Do you know what kind of USB port you have? Is it 1.2 or 2.0? The problem we had was because the desktop computer was 1.2 and my laptop is a 2.0. It needed the 2.9 usb port to work. This might be the problem. However it could be many different things as well.
