My daughter

I am so proud of my daughter. She is getting more into her writing and has become the first person at her school to start a writer's club. Her instructor in the writing club told her about a site where she can have her work published online and get paid for it. She gets paid so much per 1,000 views or something like that. Well, I checked the site out and signed her up. She has already begun writing poems to publish on the site. This poem is actually one that she wrote a year ago for school and then forgot about it. I saved it to my computer because I thought it was good. If you could take a moment to look at and read her poem and tell me what you think? Note: this is not a sign up under me type of site and I am not directing you to sign up. This link goes directly to her poem. Thank you every one! I want her to read the things people say about her work, because I think she has a natural talent. She is only fifteen years old. Titanic: http://www.authspot.com/Poetry/The-Titanic.274601

What talent, she has a great way of telling the story of the titanic..You should be proud, has she written any stories? My daughter is working on a story, though since we haven't had a computer all summer, I don't know if she wrote anymore.. Congrats to your daughter..:)

She doesn't have a myspace account. As soon as she is done with her short story and it's published, I will be starting a discussion about it.

I tell her that all of the time! She is in the process of writing a book. I can't wait for her to finish it. When she does I am going to see about getting it published.

Is Andrea the name of your daughter? And have you mentioned her age and all in the profile. I ask this because I read the comments on the poem in the site and they make me feel that they didn't realize it was written by a small girl. It was a great poem, very artistic. The description of the whole event was great. I really liked her work. Wish her a best of luck on my behalf for her future endeavours. bourne

Thank you so much! I'm not sure if her age is available on her profile or not. I will have to check into it. Thank you so much and I will pass on your message!
