hello fellow Filipino. Just wanna ask if who is your favorite local singer? and Why? Personally, i like Sarah Geronimo. She is a multi-talented and a versatile actress / singer. In her young age she established already a good name in the showbiz industry.

My favorite female singer is Nina, the soul siren of the philippines. She is a great singer that she can reach high notes at her best. She sung with her unique own style that makes her one of the chart topper here in our country. For the male singer , i idolize duncan ramos because of his style in singing and also his flexible voice gave good rendition of his songs.

I agree with you, Sarah Geronimo is a great singer and actress! She's also down-to-earth. Actually, there are a lot of great local singers in our country. There's Regine V., Rachelle Ann Go, Rachel Alejandro, Jinky Vidal, Yeng C., of course Charise Pempengco and a lot lot more. We should be proud of our singers. Have a nice day!

So far I have really no favorite local singer. Well, Sarah Geronimo is not bad. She's really a great and versatile singer. I kinda like her but not to the point that I idolize her. One filipino i am proud of is Charice Pempengco. I am so proud for her. She's the pride of the filipinos right now because of her achievements internationally. However, I love my DAVID COOK!
