Hi fellow mylotters, it's been a long time since I opened my account here... I was quite busy the past few weeks since it is my final examination week I need to comply with all the projects and research papers my professors have given to us as a requirement for the subject...it's been a tough week since I need to have a higher grade in my pre-finals exam to be able to be exempted. I admit that the examination was really to die for! it was so complicated! More than what I expected... Until... Our professor have computed the grades the same day we finished our examinations and luckily... My name was on the exemption list! It was really a blessing for me! I never expected to exempted on a hard subject like that! How about you? Have you ever been exempted on a hard school subject? What's your feeling at that moment? Thanks for response!

Hello jeiyah. During my highschool and college days, I have been i exempted in one of the exams. One that I remember is when I am in 3rd year college, our teacher gave us topics for our report and she told us that if we have a good performance in our repart, we will be exempted in our exam. I tried my very best in my report so that I won't have to take the exams and so far so good, my teacher was impressed and she gave me a big grade and i am exempted for our 3rd examination. happy mylotting!

hello yadav, exempted means that my teacher doesn't want you to take the exam because you are doing good on something like projects, report or something that involved in school. Your teacher will automatically give you a high grade with regards to what you have earned. I hope this helps. happy mylotting yadav :)

yes... in our school, that's what all students aspire for. to be exempted in final exam. that's why we are all paying attension to all short, suprise quizzes that our professor usually gives... it gives you peace of mind when class card are to be distributed..lol!

Congratulations for being exempted! Good job. I, too, exempt students if they got good grades. That's one way of rewarding them about their good performance. Continue to strive hard for your studies girl, make your parents proud and good luck! I wish you the best. Have a nice day jeiyah!

Congratulations, Good job for being exempted!!! On my school days, I'm also exempted on some subjects, like in high school, I was exempted in Biology and on college in Business Law on my final exam. It was really great being exempted on some subjects, happy to know that we got a very good grade that was needed to be able to belong in the exemption list. Really was a blessing especially on a very hard subjects.

For me it was science, I had terrible troubles with science and just could not do it at all. I had to choose a science as part of my options in the last two years of school, I did not want too but had no choice. Unfortunately I was that bad at science that the teacher refused to teach me anymore as she said that I was never going to pass the exam, in the end I was taken out of the class and allowed to do another subject instead.

Oh Congratulations my dear! You must be bright! It's not that easy to be be in the exemption list. Well if you were to ask me of my past schooling records, I would be very glad to say (modesty aside) that I was consistent in the exemption list. I belonged to the "cream of the crop" during my days because like you, I worked hard for it! Ohhh, those were the days and those were long ago! Ha!ha!ha!

congratulations!I have been telling my daughter who is in her first year in college that she must study hard and aim for the highest grade. She gets, like not mad,but like oh...here we go again...whenever I tell her that I used to be exempted to take the final examinations in my Microbiology class,english,genetics,biology,botany-linguistics etc etc...I felt just fine. My parents got used to how me and my sister and brothers did well.It was like, they expect it was to be like that. There was no more congratulatory bruhaha. I guess, my kids seem to be very lax when it comes to studying unlike how me and my husband did before. Oh well, they have passing grades, its enough. I rejoice to high heavens for high grades, and unlike my time...they get rewards.

Hey there! Congratulations for being exempted. I've been exempted a lot of times before, difficult subjects or the easy ones. There was one subject that I got exempted because I made a very good case study and defended it well. It was for the final exams. That subject is Business Policy. Other subject that I was exempted was because I joined and perform well in a school play, I was part of the winning team that competed in a choral contest, and other stuffs like that. Also, when I was in High school our Elective teacher says that if we come up with a good speech he will exempt us in his exam. Keep the good work! Happy posting!!

Oh yes. I'm only a 1st year in college right now, and I exempted a final exam when I was a senior year, in my webdesign class (too easy) I couldn't exempt other exams in any other classes, because I was too darn careless and my grades were low back then. But then again, I went to school to take the stupid final exams, and guess what? I blew it!!! LOL I really don't care, as I already finished high school and took those stupid final exams without even studying for them like 1 second!!! lol well yea my little story there and happy mylotting :)

oh how i wish haha.. however in all my years as a student, i haven't been able to get or been exempted in any major or even minor exam in that matter. I am just just an average student but with no failing grades. I excel mostly on practical subjects and on the computer subjects. Yet still my professor don't give a credit for that... good for you all who've been exempted in your exams...CONGRATS!

When I was still a student, I was exempted to one of the major subject. I really didn't expected that I was included on the list. But of course, our professor always announced the top 5 student who got the highest grades on major exams and I was included. She already announced that she was exempting students for final exam on the first day of class. And she's giving bonus points every exam. When she announced the exempted students, she also said that its ok if the exempted students take the final exam. If the score is higher to the previous, she will add it up to previous grade but if not, nothing happens to the previous grade. It really feels great not to worry about one of the major subject and all you need to do is study for the other subject. It lessen the stress.

yeah, i was exempted in 2 subjects once, that was the first and last time [till now] i was exempted in whole of my life... I think the reason was simple and straight... i was responsible for that... it wasnt sumthing unexpected or sumthing shocking, but again it was painful.
