How to ogive a proper massage?

I always give my hubby massage everynight after he came home from work because I knew how beat he is. He always complain about his feet which is so sore according to him. Also his lower back. He ask me all the time to walk on his back, I am only 83 lbs so the doctor said it is fine. I give him rubs anywhere he wants for him to feel better and sleep well. He said giving him rubs and massage every night feels good for him..hehe which I am happy to know about that. What do you think is the proper way to give massage to the feet, arms and back?

I am not sure myself but have found that various videos on youtube have been helpful to me in learning how to properly massage those parts that can be otherwise dangerous to massage. I would give you a few links but the flash player just won't download for me so no youtube! lol.
I hope you find some new techniques though! Do you play music while doing so? That might help him relax more, nice rhythmic sounds, if you have sattellite the upper channels play nice melodies for relaxation. Or you could just hum!

Hi jstmarfz, My husband is one of those people that doesn't like to get massage! No matter how many times I offer, he always says no and doesn't like it! lol. As much as I would like you to give some tips of how to do it, I don't really have an idea how! I hope that you will get some responses that can give you some tips how to give a proper massage!

For me it is the other way round. My wife constantly wants a massage from me. Either to sooth a headache or aching shoulders or an aching back. Invariably whenI go to bed andamreally sleepy and canhardly keep my eyes open she will tell me "Please massage my back." Being a good husband i do oblige, but I always tell her as towhy she waits till I am about to go to sleep. her logic is "You were busy so far." ha ha ha. now it has become a joke at home. Even my children say "Papa is going to sleep and now mummy will say please massage my back."
