What is your opinion in long distance internet love affair?

There is a dictum in china :distance is a beauty. distance can make you in a stage of imagination of love

i see no wrong in doing so. but its not exactly the greatest love story to tell ur kids. that would be my only concern, which isnt a big concern at all lol.

You just need to find a right woman who never aiming too high and taking advantages for the sake of money and citizenship. I am married to Englishman, im not aftering for his money coz he got nothing, im not aftering for citizenship coz after 4 or 5 years we retiring to Philippines,im just here to be with him and for the sake that we are living as a one family. i am educated and strong and i can find money and i will end up looking after him when we get back to Phils. I just need a man who love me and care for me, coz im afraid to live alone

I think that this is really nice just as long as you can find a trusting person who is reliable and is not just out to take advantage of you. There have been many bad cases in the past where someone would be taking advantage of another just to gain citizenship in their potential partner's country. I must admit, you are taking a risk when you indulge in this, that's all it is though, a risk and I guess you have to take calculated risks in life sometimes. It could work! i agree with you, one reason is to get out from poverty, second, could be, the chance to go abroad and third perhaps, the cross-breeding of their kins, e.g. fil-american...hhmm, i don't like to judge but maybe because it's the easy way to reach their dreams. but i must admit, there are are really internet love affairs that had develop further to true love and ended up on the altar.

Long distance love is difficult to gauge. You neve know what you are going to get into and often it can lead to a lot of trouble.

it can be fun on the net but you have to meet for it to be a real love affair, I believe you can only see if there is that special spark face to face, but i do know of 3 relationships that are working well and they met on the net but they all have a face to face relationship...it can work out well if it is meant to be.
