What soundtrack music do you recommend?

I love the soundtracks to the musicals Hairspray and Wicked. But I also love orchestral pieces from films/ TV too. Doctor Who's soundtrack is one that stands out in my mind! Murry Gold makes some fantastic music.
Although I find High School Musical very cheesy, I have to admit that most of the songs are really good, too.

I would suggest you get the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack. I really enjoyed the movie and all the songs that they have there. I really liked the soundtrack of Jesus Christ Superstar. Andrew Lloyd Webber did a superb job composing and arranging the songs of that musical. It's a bit religious but it's really good.

I have Moulin Rouge on DVD but my parents watched it and said it was awful. I am interested in watching it myself though, because to be honest they have really bad taste anyway!
