Just a few minutes back when I was browsing mylot, I got 1 alert from mylot warning me of something.. The content of it are below... "It has come to our attention that a fellow mylot user is trying to abuse the mylot private messaging system in order to gain access to others personal information. We are taking action to stop this as quickly as we can, but at the meantime always ensure that you are singing up into the real mylot by looking at your browsers address bar. If it is the genuine mylot you will see www.mylot.com/ possibily followed by some referring characters. If you are in doubt as to the validity of the link just type www.mylot.com into your browser and you can be confident that you will be logged into the real mylot. The current link in question is mylot.freehostia.com. This is not a valid mylot link and should not be trusted" OMG! Whats going on??

Yes I got 2 alerts when I logged in about 20 mins ago - I guess someone is trying to obtain login details etc from MyLot users & probably changing the payment info once logged in.. Thanks for the heads up for everyone..

Well that is a good sign, from what you say it sounds like the hosting company have already taken action against the registrant.

I got these alerts like a week ago and I don't know anything about them. I hardly ever get any PMs anyway and I think you have to be on someone's friends list to PM them anyway. So, I don't have a clue as to what this alert was about.
