My partner said that to me weeks ago, I give a deep thought about that. I was in a really big money problem. My parents are having a financial meltdown and I really need money to support myself. I can't go to work because I am still a full time student. Working part time is almost nonsense here in my country because the earning are somehow even lower that what people can earn here in myLot. I don't think it would be a good thing to do. I was distressed but then she said something like that to me. She was someone who never give a d*mn about anything. Doesn't care about anything and somehow being ignorant to many thing. She doesn't want to know about things and I thought it wasn't good at all. For one or two years she would be okay, but I think she couldn't do that for the whole of her life. Isn't she? So I thought about her so called life wisdom for me. Life is hard enough to live. Make it simple. What does she mean? What do you think about that?

hi klaudine, how are you? (to be honest, actually i have a chance to be the first respondent of this discussion, which i expect most. but, as this topic is thoughtful and not so easy to answer, and it takes lots of mental energy to be able to give the proper reply, well, i decided to postpone answering it. i am waiting first for the other responses, to get some ideas LOL. cheater! imitator! hahah..) i am so sorry to hear about your financial situation. hope it's recovered soon. do you consider to take a scholarship from your college or other party. (or you did?). you are a smart student with a high proficiency in english; i believe with your excellent GPA, you will be eligible for a scholarship, especially if you really need it. my friend in college even took a scholarship 'just for fun', and he got it! when i still studied in college, i used to work for my brother who run a newspaper agency (i think i mentioned it in a comment) to pay my study cost. in those days, the study cost is very affordable, as i studied in a public university. i paid only IDR 180,000 per semester. quite cheap, huh? so, in those times, life is quite simple LOL. wow, lengthy enough! i think i will reply the main question - what does she mean with making life simple - in the next comment LOL

LOL.. thank you for your response. I also hoped that everything is going to be alright but I don't think that it is going to be happened soon, since the economy in Indonesia were also in a bad condition. I was thinking about getting scholarship, but this is the last year of my education, so that I didn't think that I would need some thing like that. I would still able to manage the financial planning until next year, but I don't know what it would be after that. That was why I am thinking about making more and more money, looking for any opportunities to earn some cash to be able to save little by little, and my partner thought that I was thinking too much. LOL.

i see...so, there is no problem about your study cost but you are talking about the future, after you complete our study. well, i think you were thinking too much LOL sorry, just kidding. i think life is so simple as well as so complicated. life is just a game. we are playing a game created by the creator - people call him/her god, supreme consciousness, the One, or whatever they like. if we realize the we are playing a game, we can always enjoy our life, we are having fun here. of course, we are to play it seriously, play our own role properly. we have to play it seriously, if we don't seriously play it, we become serious and not playing again, not having fun again. a game can be very simple or very complicated. maybe this super game, this life is the most complicated game. still, it's a game. maybe it takes lots of effort, time and energy to properly play it. still, it's just a game. in a game, there are winners and losers. yet, both the winners and the losers are the players. they are still having fun. the winners will laugh, and the losers will laugh as well. you know when you are playing a game with your friend and you completely realize that, maybe you will feel "sad, happy, disappointed" etc when you get or lose points, but still you are laughing. your anger is a pretending anger. your sadness is a pretending sadness, as you know exactly that it's just a game. ok, i will stop now become i get lost LOL.

LOL... the problem of not taking the game too seriously, is that when you can pretend to be sad, you can pretend to be mad, you would also able to pretend to be happy. Where's the happiness then? LOL. I know that life is a game. Just like the sims2, it is a complicated game, but if you make it simpler by cheating, it is no longer interesting to play, but it is no longer a game. If you want to make it easier to do the complicated game, you can see the walk through, without cheating. That, might be better. LOL. I think I should stop talking too, before I talk too much about games and it is already out of the topic LOL

Life sucks because the world requires money for us to live on. If there were no money and the world was like in "Star Trek" where money doesn't exist and people do things for the common good while living in spacious luxury apartments at the same time, that would be fantastic.

And that's a good example, handsomeitaliano, but I just don't get it how to simplify things in life, because you and I, both, and everyone in this world know that it is almost impossible to live like in the "Star Trek" world which the ideal world according to what you've said before. I agree with you that it was really fantastic, but it was just impossible.
