Long List of Unused Interests

I just went through, out of curiosity, all the interestes on my list. I did not open each one. What I was looking for was to see what all I had selected and to see how long ago each had been posted in. There were a lot of them that the most recent post was a year or even two years ago. Why does mylot keep these interests listed if no one is posting to them? I think the problem is because there are so many duplicate interests out there. What do you think? Should there be a time limit to interests? If no one posts for a certain amount of time in a specific interest should mylot keep it indefinitely? Would it change payouts after that much time? I wouldn't think it would...after that much time, people should have gotten their payouts. It might make mylot a lot less clogged with interests and people could all post on one listing in each interest instead of three or four with the same name. Those were just the ones I chose. I am sure if I went through all of the ones mylot has on here, there would be a lot more duplicates out there.

Interesting thoughts here. I would think that the myLot owners would go in here and remove some of the many duplicates, the mispelled interests, and the interests no one ever starts New discussions in here as well. I know that I just recently cleaned up my interests in here recently as well, but never thought to see if a lot of these get New discussions started about them as well.
