Anyone else do ceramics?

I love painting ceramics. It's not only fun, I find it to be very relaxing. At the moment, I'm working on several projects, including a couple of faeries for a christmas gift, a holiday train/candy dish set and two halloween pieces.
Do you prefer to glaze or just stain and spray?
Have you ever tried water colors on ceramics? I gave my son a ceramic easter egg and some water colors (don't trust him with regular paints indoors, water colors are washable)... the effect is really quite lovely. I'm thinking of doing something with water colors later on. Perhaps one of the other projects I have in the wings.

I haven't done ceramics in such a long time, but I did find it to be very relaxing also. I do paint my polymer clay creations and I apply acrylics to my pieces (dry-brush) and then apply a gloss glaze finish to help protect the piece.
I hope you upload a couple pictures of your pieces when they are finished. There something about handmade holiday creations and I love looking at all of them!!
