Do dreams really mean something?

Have you experienced having a dream, you had some interpretations about it and it really does happen in your life? They say that if you dream that your loose a tooth, someone significant to you will die. I had dream of that several times and thankfully, I did not lose anyone. I believe that is the result of my fear of really losing a tooth - in short a pigment of my imagination I am unconscious about that turned into a horrible dream. Yes, it is horrible because all through out my dream, I was crying. What about you? Have you experience dreaming something and your interpretations were right?

Losing a tooth actually signifies that you've said something that you regret, or perhaps something that will come back to haunt you. While not everything in a dream is significant, I think there are underlying meanings to some dreams. I've dreamt that my girlfriend and I got into an argument over a certain subject that had never even been hinted at in real life. Only a day or two later, she brought up the exact subject, exactly like in the dream. It's the mind's way of telling you something that your subconscious knows but you don't.

What a coincidence is that. I do think some dreams have meaning. My proof, well not really mine are from the bible stories.

well i don't think much about the meaning of my dreams.. usually they are just continuation of my day thoughts, what i am worried about at the time.. sometimes i can't even remember what i dreamt about.. hehehe.. i like the dream i make when i am awake, because that dream i can realize through work and effort...

Recently I dreamed of a muddy flood. I searched the internet to find the meaning of it. It said that 'flood' represents emotional issues and tensions that are overwhelming me. Right now, I'm facing some issues in my life which causes me distress and tensions. I think dream is another way to really understand whats in our subconscious mind and not to tell us what will happen in the future..

Perhaps there is only two kinds of so-called "dreams foretelling one's future actually. One is positive, another is negative. When we had some positive dreams,we had some kind of motivating factor to activate our ambition to complete some things;when we had some negative dreams,we want that dream unrealised,so we can avoid to get stuck in some bad circumstance in the future. If what we dreamt came ture, that is just some unrealised combination between what we dreamt and what we lived.By the way,it aroused a point that we should concentrate on what we are facing now for we can just do what we can do now.

To interpret dreams right, log it in a journal and assess your daily life. Because dreams can be interpreted that way. Some dreams is just part of our past or just a reminder who we are in the past. If you believe in reincarnation, it is one way of telling us who we are in past life.

I am not sure about this or i havent heard it before. It is new to me. There's one time i dreamt that my tooth came out but there isnt anything happening or i hope that there will not be anything happened to people around me. My friend once told me that dreams that you can remember will not come true. I am not sure about that either. I guess its the many beliefs that people believe in.
