what are the positive things and negative things of being a college student in your countries?

college students in our country tend to be passive about the things that are going on around us so that makes it negative. positive? uhmmm... is there any? LOL... i'll search for good answers for it... :D

I go to college in the United Kingdom and a positive thing is finacial support. If you're a student who can't afford college, you can take out student loans or even have the government pay for your college fees. I am not sure if it's like that for most countries, I can only comment on the UK.

Well I get rebate whenever I avail public transport like bus or tram or tain and nothing more really..You have all the negetive and positive things of being an adult that's all!!

In India, more than 50 percent of the population consists of students. So the first problem is competition. There is immense level of competition in the country. Seats are few hundreds and candidates in millions, literally. The second problem is that not many institutes or colleges have a good track record of placements. So majority of the pass outs find it difficult to get a decent job. The biggest advantage is that the pattern and syllabus of courses available are very similar and teaching is a worshipped profession in our country.
