I know that Christmas is a long time off and that this discussion is very preemptive. LOL!! But here it the thing I was walking throught the stores and thinking what happened to thanksgiving???? What happened to Halloween???? I mean think about it. It's October and they are already putting out the christmas decorations. So now as I'm sitting here thinking about cookies I'm thinking about starting to get the stuff ready for the recipes that I will be making for christmas. My list for cookies goes as follows. 1. Chocolate Chips various flavor of the chips. 2. Peanut butter cookies 3. Peanut butter blossoms 4. sugar cookies that are decorated 5. snickerdoodles 6. russian tea cookies 7. and others that I can't think of until I get my little book out. ohhhh I make the pizzelles too. 8. Bishops Bread. What is your cookie list? Do you have any holiday favorites? I love the chocolate ball type cookies with the white icing. Yum I have a recipe somewhere but not sure where it is.

My favorite cookies at Christmas are No-Bake cookies. The ones with the cocoa and peanut butter and oatmeal. They are a family favorite. My sister makes them and sends them to my brother, two years ago to Afghanistan and last year to Iraq. We aren't sure this year. I also like oatmeal cookies with butterscotch chips, sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies. I used to really like peanut butter cookies but the older I get the less I like peanut butter it seems.
