I my self am although I miss working sometimes. I love watching my children grow up. Some people get down right rude when they find out that ony my husband works right now. As if we more less I am doing something wrong. These people normal do not have small children either. But alot of people who pay for child care are spending most of there paychecks doing so any how. And in our case we live in an area were buses dont even run. We have one car which my husband takes to work. So we would have to take on more bills for me to work like another car, car ins, gas for the car, and last but not least daycare. We aren't rich by no means but all are bills are paid. But we are all happy we have what we need isn't that what matters. Not having tons of money in bank. We still do things with are kids like take them to kennywood "which is an amasement park in Pa." every year and the zoo things like that. Soon enough all the kids will be in school im in no rush for them to get bigger. So are you a stay at home parent? Or do you wish you could be? I cant be the only one that feels this way so Im glad to hear your comments.

I am a stay-at-home mom and I find that stay at home moms are not as respected as they should be. I have no problem with moms working if they need to but I feel I deserve the same respect for the career choice I have made. I am lucky that it works for us. My husband works and we live comfortably. I know some people have to have two incomes to make ends meet and I respect that. We dont have to have two incomes his income is sufficient for us so shouldn't be punished becasue I choose to raise and enjoy my kids. All I ask is the same respect. Have a good day!

Respect thats a good way to put it. No need to put others down for doing whats needed. I have worked before as Im sure I will again no need to say anything about anyone. As along as you take care of your kids and do whats right you shouldnt have fingers pointed at you. Thank you for you nice comment.

I am a stay at home mom when I can be. I think it is great. All my children are in school so I decided to become a substitute teacher. I don't have to worry about saying I can't come in and be punished for it. They don't hold it against us. I work the same hours my kids are in school. I am so in touch with each teacher. I know what is going on with my kids more and I love being around other kids. When I had a non school age child I love having that special time with them and did special things. I enjoy working though but love every minute i have with them. I think being a stay at home mom is one of the most important jobs and I truly hope you never feel bad about being home. KUDOS to you!
