i woke up early today and opened up my laptop to see what is new with updates here on mylot and other account i have with my socializing network pages i am a member of. as i was hitting up on the sites, i suddenly smelled something good that makes me oh so hungry.. our neighbor is cooking TUYO! it is a small dried fish. i eat this with CHAMPORADO (a chocolate flavored rice meal filipino version of oatmeal. am i right about this? hahaha!) now i am hungry and craving for it too but sad thing about this is that we don't have tuyo right now. hahaha!! how about you? have you been awakened by the smell of the food your neighbor is cooking? happy posting and happy mylotting!

Hi skbh, Ohh...that happens to me also but not here! LOL! I love more of our asian food! I remember before, every time our neighbor will grill or friend fried fish, It will make me so hungry and I will imagine eating it with rice...LOL! The craving and desire to eat is very sad when all of a sudden, I will found out that we have no dried fish! LOL! ANyway, I am now imagining it!

really? i guess the way they make it is due to climate differences. hahah! it is hotter here in the Philippines compared to where you are and the heat directing the fishes makes it more tastey and oh so yummy! hahahah!

Years ago I used to live next door to a lady who used to cook rissoles a lot and I could always smell the onions cooking and it smelt beautiful, its funny but when I used to cook them I couldn't smell it..strange isn't it....

hello lilaclady! yeah that sounded strange to me too. haha. you didn't smell what you were cooking when you have smelled what your neighbor was cooking. maybe we get to appreciate more how the others do it rather than ourselves. it feels good to wake up in the morning smelling or seeing something good that puts a smile on our faces right. happy posting!
