Are ghosts and ghouls scarier than aliens?

By far, the scariest horror movie creatures are ghouls or the undead. They just can't be reasoned with! I can't wrap my head around the concept of someone coming back to life like that and walking around eating brains. That's just my opinion. What type of horror movie creatures scare you the most?

I forgot to add that obviously, I more scared of horror movies that deal with ghosts then next, the undead. My younger sister is quite the opposite, she's more scared with horror movies that deal with human perversions like Saw or Hostel.

When I was a kid, I was the same way as your younger sister. I was so frightened by the "slasher" killer (Saw) movies that I had to imagine a camera man standing five feet to the left of the killer filming everything. That put the movie in perspective. Strange how everything is scarier and more warped as a child than when you grow up.

I can't wrap my head around the concept of someone coming back to life like that and walking around eating brains Ghosts dont eat brains, but zombies do...but to answer your question I dont think any of them are scary really....Aliens are cool as *beep* and Zombies are too not to mention comical and ghosts are just ghosts ya know....

The Ring series, Japanese version and The Grudge, also the Japanese version? Oh my gosh, they're the scariest movies I've ever seen! They're about ghosts. Next would probably 36weeks after. This one is about zombies. Nyiii... Really scary!

Thank you! I was trying to think of the name of that movie. It's the Grudge. Yes, a very horrifying flick. That is for sure.
