Do Wishes Come True.

A couple of days ago I was on mylot when I came across a post asking me to make a wish for someone other than myself. I made a wish for my mother. My father died about a year ago and she is very lonely and sad. I wished she would find a friend or a partner that would help her find herself again. The next day out of the blue her ex-boyfriend from high school contacted her. For the past two days they have been chatting late into the night. I feel like she is coming out of a dark cave. She is remembering the things she used to enjoy and I think I can detect a small amount of happiness in her voice. I guess its too soon to know if my wish is really coming true but it appears that way to me. I feel like I've been visited by Pinocchio's Blue Fairy. How about you, have you ever been granted a wish?

That's great for your mom.Wishing her more happiness too. I used to say my wishes when I saw a shooting star like I wish I could fly, and some superhero stuff back when I was a kid, sadly none of them came true.. now I realize I should have wished something else more realistic. I guess it all depends if your wishes are realistic.

Flying sounds nice... If I had known my wish was going to be granted maybe I would have wished for that too. Just kidding... I'm really happy for my mom. Thanks for hoping and keep wishing. You never know, maybe someday you'll fly.
