What Is The Best Deal On A Laptop These Days?

My wife's computer is slowly dieing on her. I need to get her a new laptop and I have started shopping. The problem is that there are a number of manufacturers out there and many of them produce a decent product, but not necessarily a great one. What I am looking for is the best computer for the best price. I would really like to find a machine that is strong, durable, with good memory and fast processing speed that is also reasonably priced.

hey try HP laptops..even dell is good.. but dell service does not have a good reputation.. i recently bought HP 2900 series..have a look at that.. d cost is also quite less..n it has a good processor speed n RAM..

dell is a good option, except that it is a little heavy(not distinctly heavy though)... dont go for a acer havin a AMD ATHLON OR TURION as it gets very hot because of the heat dissipation.. you can also have a look at a TOSHIBA or a HP., with a good config... nowadays, laptops are providing good configurations for faster performance... also look into different places for the rates issue,,,,they vary from retailer to retailer.

Go here - http://www.tigerdirect.com/ I like the Acer, but be aware that some of the small differences aren't really worth paying for! Dell makes a nice one, too! wow, I made it, I can finally put in links! Thank You, MyLot
