Guys hope you can give me some advise. I'm afraid to go to a doctor. I'm not feeling good lately. I'm having chest pain, numbness in my left arm, palpitation and sometimes i felt like somebody it pushing needle inside my chest. I don't want to go to a doctor but I'm afraid I might experience again what happened to me during my college days. My left part of the body was numb and cold. My friend say when she hold me I am like half dead. My friend want to bring me to the hospital but I insist not to bring me there. All she did is massage my left hand and presto after 10 minutes I felt good then go back to my class. I ask her not to tell anybody about it. I'm having this chest pain since childhood but I just don't mind it coz I thought it's just normal. What do you think guys? What's wrong with me?

I definitely suggest you go to a doctor no matter how afraid you are. And that's because you're experiencing very serious symptoms! But I wouldn't get yourself into a panic by reliving past experiences. Perhaps that's making your symptoms worse. Stress and our own imagination can definitely manifest itself in physical symptoms. So it could be as simple as you're "stressed out." Or it could be something physical that if left untreated will get worse. I say you just cannot afford to avoid a doctor with symptoms like these! Just calm down and relax. There's no reason to stress over this. But defintely get yourself checked out by a doctor before it gets even worse. And who knows, it might be simple: Stress over something in your life--school, work, relationship.

Thanks for the response but I'm experiencing this since childhood but sometimes it only last for an hour or a few minutes. So for me it's normal but I'm not confident enough with it. Do you think there are people who experience like this who don't have any illness?
