Any Daily Expense Managing Software?

HI, i live with my friends and working in a company. As this is my first stay on my own i need to track down the daily expenses made by me. i find it hard to write down in a note & moreover i cant do any searches using that method. Is there any software available to for this expense report? if possible do let me know the link.

just use excel as it is easier to use than the database program in case you're not very familiar with these. All you need to do is type down what stuff you bought/spent on and how much on a daily basis, adding the date and such, perhaps do them in a monthy table with a total of expenses/earnings during that month and see if you're doing anything wrong if u'r always short on money so u can change ur spending habits, etc. Excel is very good and flexible for such things, easy to use and u can even make ur own "program" thro it which basically has all those stuff in it and u just need to insert the data afterwards which is even easier
