the internet is one of the most helpful innovations of man, thanks to the US National Defense who first made it for military purposes. well, undeniably, it made the impossible possible: bridging far communications closer together and it is a very big help. in research, it is very hard to line to the library only to find out that your books are not available, here online, all you got to do is be resourceful enough to find those topics which makes it more convenient, time consuming. if you wanna find someone, a romantic partner or a friend from the other side of the world, you can join dating sites, or network sites, meet new friends and even find old friends, isnt it touching to find that person who matters a lot to you after so many years? and there are so many enjoyment here, unlimited fun, trivia, games, contests, where we all could learn and earn at the same time. the internet is worth it, but that does not mean it is the center of our lives, living a simple life always the best choice for me. i could live without it, but is better to have it..lol.. happy myloting!!!!

I love the internet. Just think it is really not even real. it is just information that is sent from computer to computer. It made us the laziest people we could be. It made our economy much better too!

Without the internet I would not be able to communicate with people around the world. I know less about how other people live their lives in other places. More people are using the internet to communicate, so we can all be more aware of international situations and events around the globe. This should help to build a better understanding between people of different cultures and belief systems. Hopefully in future there will be less repression and persecution in the world because of the information we can share on the internet. I had no internet connection last year and I did not use it until I got connected again this year, and now I am again learning more about the world. I make more money from my activities on the internet than I pay for the connection.

The internet is really a fascinating tool. Because of it information as well as other things are readily available for us. OF course just like any other tool, if we become too dependent on it then it then instead of us using it it might end up using us. Meaning we depend on it too much that we devote too much of our time to it, that we forget the other more important things in life.

Hi ya jhl930 Well we did survive before it was invented so if it all packed up tomorrow I guess we would still cope without it. I love to be able to buy things on the internet that I can't get to the shops to buy or are alot cheaper. I love being able to view my ever decreasing bank balance online. As I am a single mum I don't have much of a social life but the internet provides me with company should I need it!
