Red Sox Nation Manny and Nomar.Ate you looking forward to this as much as I am? There would be drama.Having Manny come back to Fenway... I just can't finish that sentence.I am lucky. I have been a Dodger fan since the 80's and a member of the Red Sox Nation since 2003, the year Schilling came to Boston.A Red Sox-Dodgers series would be worry free for me, one of my teams would win. How about you, Are you looking forward to this series?

Not sure I want to see Red Sox and Dodgers so much. I wouldn't mind if the Dodgers made it but right now they are not looking too good with this game at the moment. The Phillies may have something to say about it the way they are playing at this moment. I wouldn't count Tampa out but it's not going to be easy for them.

The way the Dodgers are playing , they will be swept if they aren't careful. If the Phillies play the Rays, I am not watching The Series.

The Rockies fall sounds like a good topic for a post.

Based on the regular season stats, I'd say the Phillies probably will win unless they fall apart at Philadelphia. The Dodgers have beaten them at LA and Philadelphia has done the same thing. I haven't watched much of the playoffs this season. The Indians aren't there to be honest so I'm a bit of an observer. The Tampa Bay vs. Boston series I hope can last a while and be interesting. Boston is the heavy favorite and this is a David vs. Goliath battle if you think about it. The last four World Series match ups have been won without much effort. I question the Rockies lack of effort in that series but I'll save that for another time.

This would be a great series and one I am hoping for. I am a Boston fan and have been for many years already. I would love to see the dodgers make the world series so the Yankees will see they made a mistake in letting Joe Torre go. It is not Joe's fault they have not won in many years, it is the stupid GM Cashman's fault for making the worst trades every and giving players more money than they deserve. I would love to see Manny come back, all that he has done for Boston but I think he left on a bad note and would be interesting to see how the fans react to his return. Nomar, I think it was smart to get rid of him. He was aging and his prime time was no longer there but it would be nice to see him back.

There are enough storylines that if these two meet in the Series, it could be a soap opera.

It will be nice to see Dodgers make it as my brother is a dodgers fan, my mom was a dodgers fan and because of Joe Torre. But Red socks again

Do you live in L.A? I'm from NY and have bee a Red Sox fan since '98. People allways ask if I'm from boston when they here I'm a sox fan. I started following the sox 10 yrs back because of Nomar. I was pissed when they 1st talked of trading him, but then the redsox seem to do things for the right reasons. Nomar at the time was on the injured list and they needed a shortstop. They traded him for another one of my favorite players in Orlando Cabrera. They win the world series and the next year they don't resign Cabrera, and they bring in this bumb alex gonzalex who couldn't hit a pile of dog crap if it was stacked 5ft in the air. But now they got this kid Jed Lowrie to replace the non productive Julio Lugo and it's great. I've been waiting for the mlb to have an interleague game for the Dodgers to come to Boston so Nomar can get a round of applause from the fans. I think the interleague games that are scheduled sucked this year. They need to have teams like the Stankees, I mean yankees and the redsox go play the cubs at wrigley field. I don't think anyone cares if the redsox a play the san diego padres, or the colorado rockies. But anyway, It would be nice to see Manny go back to Boston for the world series and get hit in the face by a wild pitch!!! I like him as a player, but what he did by not busting his butt when the rest of his team mates are trying to win games was selfish. He had a problem with redsox management, not with his team. If he didn"t want to be there he should've stayed at home until he got traded. Nomar is still my favorite player, and it's too bad he has been on and off the disabled list since he's been gone from Boston. It would be nice to see him finally go back to Boston.

No, I am not from L.A.I live in Northern V.A. There are two teams that I have rooted for since the 80's the Mets and the Dodgers. The Mets because of the guys on the 86 team, forgive me. As for The Dodgers, I love, love Tommy Lasorda and Ron Cey and all the other Dodgers I can't remember the names right now. Isn't that sad? Anyway,I became Red Sox Nation because two great facts. One, Schilling had just been signed and most important, I finally found a team who hated The Yankees as much as I do.To get to see them win not once but twice was great. The only sad part was Nomar not being there.I was a Nomar fan before I was a member of Red Sox Nation. I saw him at a All Star Game and it was love at first sight.I hope he finally gets to the World Series.
