Correction to my previous statement on the world population

My apologies to those who have read the discussion i have posted earlier regarding the current total world population. The current world population estimate according to the US Census Bureau is at more or less 6.7 billion instead of 10 billion (which is totally off the mark but could be possibly reached by 2060).

hi jay...that is still a whole lot of people. it must have been a real chore to do the math.

Hi. Actually, the correction I posted is data I read from the October demographic survey done by the U.S. Census Bureau. The previous number I declared was from my own estimate (LOL). And yes, even if the closest and almost accurate current population estimate is 6.7 billion, I agree with you with that number being whole of people.
