I think today's parents are not able to understand their childerns. They think that they are still children and not yet matured, inspite of being elder. They think they cannot take right dissicion and are still unaware what they are doing.I think i am also from those children whose parents are not able to understand them.I wanted to do animation but my parents didn't know the great scope of animation and they put me into a diploma course of I.T.But i always wanted to do animation as i am very much interested in doing it.If you can please help me out.

That is, and I noticed, though no longer even a child. You tried to talk to them more seriously? to explain that you want to do? for example, to tell them the way we have said to us. I think if you tell them in this way will think better at what you want to do and will leave you.

Poor you. It is just not they are not understanding. They were not aware of the great opportunities lies behind animation. I could suggest a few things to you. You could collect information about animation and great local people that has made big with animation. Find out companies that hires animators.Or maybe you can create an animation to say thank you to them and melt their hearts out. Show them that you are really talented and will put a hundred percent into it.

I am a mother of a seventeen year old boy. When my son was a still young, I do decide everything for him but I let him choose the clothes he wanted. Sometimes though I wanted to choose some things for him that are more appropriate for his age. But when he was already in his teens, he wanted to be left on his own with his friends. He does things that he was comfortable with and he goes with his friends all the time but I only checked if he was going with the right people or not. The time came when he was ready to go to college. i merely suggested some courses that were good but I didn't choose what course he must take. Parents must not interfere when their children decide to take what course they want. It is a pity that some parents hold their children by their neck even if their children are already grown up. Sometimes though, parents are concerned with their children. What parent doesn't want their child to be successful in the future? Every parent wants the best for their child but sometimes they forget about how their children feel. I wish all parents have the same thoughts and views but it is not like that. Vivarock, I sympathize with you. But maybe your parents want the best for you. Still, you could convince them if you try to enlighten their minds about animation as the modern course for generations of today. Tell them that animation is good and that there are lots of opportunities for animators. Your parents want you to take IT which is related to animation because both are dealing with the newest technology so why not let them see what's in animation. They will soon let you get the course that you dream to have. Good luck and I hope your parents will soon realize that they should let you choose what course you want........
