i personally love to read. i think readinging is fun, so i will read anything that i get my hands on, or anything that is visible to me. whether its signs, love novels, mysteries, school books, articles; anything. i think that reading alot helps you to be aware of changes in your society, helps you to form opinions, helps you to be intellectually inclined.

I'm very selective of my reading materials. I feel like I'm feeding my mind and my soul so I want the one's that empower me as an individual. I appreciate people who loves to read because for one thing, they are smart people and you can actually hold a conversation with them. Just some topics that I don't want get deep like politics. The latest book I've read so far is The Rules of Life by Richard Templar. I don't like going to a bookstore when I have a limited budget because it breaks my heart going out without a book or two. When I was at my lowest point in life, I went to powerbooks and spent all my day reading books. Well, thats aside from spending my whole afternoon in a parlor.

I with you on this one. I love reading - when I was a kid I don't think there was ever a time when I didn't have at least one book on the go. I studied Lit at university and it did spoil it for me a bit (although I dicovered Latin American writing which I really enjoy) but on the whole, after University I did not really read as much as before. But then I started working in a library and suddenly it's like I'm in Aladdin's cave with all these treasures!! I now read more than ever, but I'm suprised by the number of people, especially young people, who don't read or even belong to a library. It's free, why would you not want to belong to a free organisation where you can borrow books, films, music, video games and use the internet. I always hope that those who use libraries for non-book borrowing activities will eventually get the urge to pick up a book when they are older.

I love to read too. I've always loved reading even when I was a little kid. I remember whenever I would go on vacation with my parents as a kid, I would always end up bringing a ton of books with me to read on the way and while there at wherever it is we would be going. I would bring so many books sometimes that I would have no hope in reading all of them. I would even check books out of the library to take with me.

I too like to read. I think reading is fun when you get to imagine how you want your characters to be. The places, people things. I like to read novels that has romance, thrill, mysteries, vampires, fantasy. I guess anything that attracts me to it. Sometimes when choosing book, i have to see the cover if it is attractive, next i'll look into the storyline.

i do believe in the power of reading. where else would you get informations or ideas? reading feeds and enriches your mind. there's nothing like a good old book to pass away the time. our minds are like engines. it needs constant conditioning and good maintenance so it won't get rusty and works well when you need it the most. i pity those who don't like to read coz they don't really know what they're missing. it's very important to make chldren aware of it so they'll make reading a part of their habit and it will naturally grow on them.
