What are people majoring in now, since the economy is so bad?

I'm still majoring in journalism and dramatic literature. Unfortunately, the failing economy and the use of the internet is forcing papers to fire hundreds of reporters. A business major isn't the best idea right now. My university has a major business school. Kids there are freaking out. They've lost internships and potential job opportunities. Business are filing bankrupcy. They're going to be cutting down on jobs, not hiring.

I'm a business management and international affairs double major. I wouldn't worry too much about your major as far as economy because by the time you are ready to graduate the market will either be on the upswing or leveling out. Either way if you're good at your major there will more likely than not be a demand for you....

I'm majoring in theatre, molecular biology, and biochemistry. Planning to go on to medical school after that, and become a Hematologist/Oncologist. Let's hope Obama doesn't get to try his cute "socialized" healthcare. Please. That'd be a great way to waste my time, removing the free market. .
