Why do they call surgery a cure for cancer

I have been researching cancer cures. They say that there are ways to prevent it, other than mother to a tropical paradise where they are no chemicals or additives in the food. They talk about radiation, chemotherapy that will shrink the cancer cell if they get it pinpointed right then. But then when they talk about being cure for cancer, and I read the testimony from this woman who had an operation and she has this dent in you know where or the man who got one of his private parts snipped because of prostrate cancer, why do they have the nerve to see that surgery is a cure for cancer? For me, a vaccine that will kill the cancer cells and cause healthy cells to grow in their place, an herb from the Amazon or some place in the tropics (where people die of infectious diseases and if they live long, it is not from cancer because they were never expected to live that long anyway.) that destroys cancer cells and causes the good cells to grow. (yes we did not die of infectious diseases because cold kills bacteria, so we have to get those horrible cancer and heart diseases when older.) It certainly is not the take out the bad cells as a big lump and they are not replaced by good cells. That is not a cure. So why call a cure when it is not?

It is called the cure for cancer since it can dianosed and find out how far it has spread so there is still a chance that it can stop the cancer from spreading from other parts of the body which will save the persons life. It is called cure coz there is a big chances that a person can survived through the operation. By removing the body tissue that is likely to become cancerous. There are several types of cancer surgeries and all of them helps save a patient. Cure means a time without recurrence of a disease so that the risk of recurrence is small as in 5 year cure rate for malignant. And surgery have save lives of a lot of cancer patient. That is the reason why it can be considered as a cure for cancer.

Cancer don't need the knife. As soon as you operate on cancer, the patient gets well for a period and after that cancer comes back with a vengeance. My cousin contracted throat cancer, could not even eat a spoon of rice. He started with cayenne pepper in his diet and can now eat a full meal like in the good old days. Grapes is also good for cancer sufferers. Early detection of cancer is important.

I got a lump in my br*st rather quick. It took about a month. So what do you do about that? So far it has not moved. But I have been eating a lot of flax seed, and I should have some other stuff, but I am at the end of my budget, so what do i do in the mean time? I am going to go the diet route. That will be much better.

yes I understand what you are saying, I have a friend who is basically living on freshly squeezed carrot, beetroot and ginger juice and so far he has lived over ten years longer than he was told, and to be honest I don't think I would go through a lot of the surgery's for cancer, if they said it was a cure I might but I watched a lady years ago getting cut away litlle by little, for me cure yes no to just surgery...

I get the feeling that unless I buy some exotic food that only grows in the tropics and costs a lot to get here but I would rather eat some horrible tasting weird stuff than get cut up. I think that the farther north from the equator or farther south, the foods that protected us from cancer cannot grow. So this is going to hurt me in the pocket book. Well I guess my husband is only going to get a gift card from Future Shop for his birthday and Christmas.

That is a good question. I assume they mean that for the moment if they get it all out...it is gone.

From what I heard, if it is not the all in one place type they may not have gotten it all. So you are just surviving and they say there is no cure. Like I read of someone just eating on carrot juice and vegetables so if you have to go that far after surgery it is not that good. And if you have it, you live in fear of it coming back. I am pre diabetic, and I'd rather have that then be a survivor.

I think it is just because they are able to remove it. Take it out of your body. Then you are "cured". Not the best term, I agree. It is just one treatment.

But I heard that even with that, there is a chance that you will get it again. So that is not exactly are cure. A cure is if you eat a certain way or are giving a vaccination or a pill, then you are cured. I mean I had measles and chicken pox, and after bed rest and those hot barley soups, I was cured.

I think it can prevent the cancer cell moving. If it move to another place, he will die.So the surgery is the most great way
