sometimes your phone can be a life saver but everything has it place in this world we can,t give up the fight of trying to focus more on our driving because lives are involved.every life we save is worth it.

it is against the law here in quebec to drive and talk on the cellphone because of all the accidents, I think if you talk on the cellphone you should pull over somewhere, you need your full attention on the road when you are driving

Driving needs a one hundred per cent concentration. So cellphones is an absolute NO. Every country should pass a law banning cellphones while driving. I see many youngsters on two-wheelers chatting on their cellphones while riding their bikes. I do so very much wish the cops would catch them and punish them severely, so that they never use the cellphone while driving again. They not only endanger themselves, but also so many others on the road. I think such users are very selfish people.

Doing anything while driving can pose a danger, cell phone's no different. I've seen a man driving with his phone attatched to his ears while he was eating. I try not to use my phone while I'm driving. I do have bluetooth for that purpose. I know it doesn't really justify but it does make it better.

a lot of people have switched to the bluetooth to help with not having to hold a phone but what about the mental part of not thinking about driving when you are talking to someone on cellphone.it,s best just wait until you are not operating a car before talking on the cell phone.

I think it is not safe. Because when we use the phone, we can't concentrate on driving. And if something happens, we can't act quickly. When we talk on the phone, we can heardly hear the sound outside the car. That's very dangerous.

thats true concentrating is needed because mentally you can shut down to whats going on around you.what if we drop the phone and try to pick it up and someting happens and it could.there is way to many lives on the road to take this lightly.

Using cellphone while drinking is never safe! It's hard to concentrate on driving if you are talking with somebody beside you how much more if the person is on the phone. There have been a number of road accidents involving the use of cellphone and therefore we must take the cue from those. If we really cannot avoid using cellphone while driving... it is better to stop driving first to make sure we are not putting our safety and others at risk.

Not at all. Phones should be avoided at all times while driving. They tend to distract and not only the drivers are at danger but also other innocent people. All our concentration gets diverted towards the phone and it poses danger. I've seen many driving with one hand on the steering wheel holding a phone in the other. They might think of using handsfree devices as an alternative. But this too isn't safe as ultimately your mind is distracted even if your hands are free.

I never use my phone while driving. If someone calls, I'll wait until I stop somewhere to call them back. My little sister will use the phone while she drives and I absolutely hate it. Cell phones cause way too many accidents.

thats why they are trying to pass a law you can,t use cellphones while driving people still going to do it out of sight out of mine.keep up the good work not using your phone while driving you are saving lives by doing this you are focusing on your driving.i remember one time i was upset and i got under the wheel to drive to a desination but i dont remember driving there mentally i was shut down i could have killed myself are someone else. so you can imagine not being focus on driving what affect it has on us, driving and using the cellphone what affect it has on the mind.
