Any fans of Mohammad Rafi on mylot?

I have been a great fan of Rafi since my childhood.My earliest memory was listening to Khoya khoya chand and Baar baar dekho hazaar baar dekho on the radio.It used to be Radio ceylon and Vivdh bharti those days.Though Radio ceylon closed Vividh bharti is still going strong and one gets to listen to choice rafi songs....

I am a GRET fan of Rafi. I love his singing style and his songs.My favorite songs are Baar baar dekho hazaar baar dekho' Yeh chand sa roshan chehra', and Akele akele kahan ja rahe ho- all of them pcturised on shammi kapoor, another fav of mine

I too am a great fan of Shammi kapoor, and i feel that Rafi had a special way of singing while playbacking for Shammi kapoor.Shammi Kapoor has always felt that he owed his success to Rafi to a gereat extent.they complemented each other perfectly.I love the songs from Dil Dekhe Dekho, Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Dil Tera deewana - so many great numbers there are..

I think Shammi kapoor rightly said that ' Meri awaz chala gaya'( My voice has left me ) when Rafi passed away. It was Rafi's voice which made Shammi kapoor so popular and his films so very successful..
