Starting discussions will increase the rating than responding..

Hi everyone. 
I think that starting discussions will get us to higher rating than responding to discussions. Do you people accept with that??? 
I have a reason for that. When we are responding to some discussion, its only few people who rate the responders. Many of them will forget to rate the response. But almost everyone will rate a discussion if it makes some sense.
Do you agree with that???

Hi vidhya,Its true that the rating increases than responding,But the earning increases only when we respond.I very well realised this,as howmany ever responses we get our earning doesn't increase much,but only whenwe give quality responses our earnings increase.So I have decided to respond more than to start discussions.thanks for sharing.happy mylotting.

More or less its true. Lol. When I was new here, I used to respond to some 50 responses per day. I never reached $1 per day when I was doing that. And of course my response was not bad. Lol.
But some days later I just concentrated much on my discussion. I commented on all the response and I didn't have much time to respond others discussion. You know. I reached till $2+ in a single day. We can't just guess what will give us more earnings.
But when we are starting a discussion, our earnings are in other hands. If people who respond to our discussion doesn't post any links we are on the safer side. Lol. If they are descriptive we will earn more. While we are posting responses, what we earn is just in our hands. In that way you are right. We do earn more while responding. Hope I make sense. Lol.

Well, you get Rated either way from most of the people when you start a New discussion and when you post back if the people that start New discussions are rating you like they should as well. Since we make more from posting back to New discussions usually versus starting New discussions, that is why most of us do more than that as well. And since most people here are interested also as well in earnings, it is just something most people will do instead.

I do have my doubts whether you get more earnings for starting a discussion than answering posts. Since mylot have not made clear how the payout works. So I would not worry much about it.

Ya you are right. In a discussion, we will get some 10 responses in an average. So in that atleast 5 will rate the discussion. The probability is more when we start a discussion. thats what I am saying. Happy to have your response. Happy mylotting.

Why are you worried about ratings? Ratings have nothing to do with earnings, so it matters not whether everyone rates you, or you go through and rate all the discussions and responses.
Personally, I think it is a waste of time.

I do accept with you. I know that it doesn't affect our earnings. But still I am crazy about that blue star. Lol.
Its just an interest. To increase my rating, I want to give quality posts. I have to work hard to increase my rating. In that way my earnings will also increase. That star just encourages me to post more. Lol. Happy to have your response. Happy mylotting.
