Gossip Maker - MEN or WOMEN?

In my workplace, mostly are men, I don't understand why they are more gossip maker than women. They gossip not thinking that they are affecting the feelings of other people. Now I'm thinking is really men more tattletale than women?

i pretty sure that women are tattletale than man.
women are more socially capable people than men, men are very introvert by nature and often times than not, it's like they live on their own world. meaning to say that they are not aware about whats going on...exception: is when they are at they're work places. they're always in for surprises knowing anything about somebody they know.
but that's just my opinion...i don't know other's reaction about this..

Maybe in general they think of women as gossip maker because of their social nature. Women expresses their feelings openly than men. As what you say men live in their own world that is why people tend to think that women are more tattletale than men.
