Name the slimmest camera of all time?

Is it worthwhile buying the thinnest or smallest digital camera? I'm not convinced... I bought compact Olympus digital camera... and I am not satisfied neither from optics not from the quality...

I recently purchased the Canon SD1100 Elph. It isn't the thinnest but It is pretty thin. I feel it takes amazing pictures. I love the quality of Canon's cameras. I wanted to get one that could go underwater and be shockproof like the some of the Olympus line. But the prices get pretty high for them and I like the quality of Canon's cameras better. I would highly recommend the SD1100. I got mine online for only $169. My brother in-law got the same camera at Best Buy for $200. I also got a free case and larger card. I think the best thing for you to do is to visit all the camera showrooms. This will help you to come to a decision. Frankly, I would not want to have a big camera hanging around me all time, neither would I want a very tiny one, where the chances of it getting lost are more. Good luck in your buying.

Samsungs L77 is, I think, the current record holder, and it takes great pictures. But there are lots of other fine, portable cameras: why concentrate on just the thickness when you are choosing? What do you plane to do with it...hide it in a sandwhich???
