Have You Ever??

Hi.
We all try to make some quality posts each day, trying to make the maximum of the time we put into posting and responding here on myLot. We all make sure that our response earns a + at least, if not the best response award. But have you ever lost 15 reputation points in a span of 2 hours? Well, I have. Today morning, my reputation points read 84/100, but after 2 hours of myLotting, I found that they have been pulled down to 69/100. 
Has this happened to anyone else? And if it has what are the reasons for it. I'm just sad because as far as I know, I have posted quality responses, but somehow the points are down.
I'm asking my fellow mylotters to tell me their guesses about this. Thanks

Hi there bournecaindelta!
Anything is possible here in myLot. Losing 15 reputation points in a span of 2 hours is not impossible. It could have been brought about by people who have been giving you a "-" in your responses and in your own discussions. Do not be pulled down by these people. Let them do as they wish. Just do what you think is right. For as long as you are not violating any rules here, there is no reason for you to worry about losing these points. Good luck to you!

I was actually shocked seeing that. When it was increasing, I had to put up my score point by point. Now, so many gone at once. Kinda disheartening, but after thinking for sometime I have come to the decision to stop worrying about it

For the record, I have given you a + for this post. I really think that it is quite a sad situation that you are losing points like that. :( I hope it gets back up one or two notch soon, friend.
It is a sad situation right when we try out best to be positive but people go along rating -. I wish the whole system would be off which would be more pleasant. But anyway, the spirit of mylot members that are supportive of one another can also be felt and that's what pulls me to the ground here.

I agree that this is a bad situation. I also read up on another discussion where a person was threatening another user. Things at myLot are not going the way they used to anymore. But the reason I have not thought about it much lately is because of friends like you and people who make good discussions and value other person's view.

Personally I have always been a "10" and I have never had any of the many problems others have seen here. It would be upsetting if for some reason I did loose my "10" in here, but I would still just continue to keep on posting as I can and hope for the Best as well.
