What type of first impression do you give off?

In this corner we have the good, the bad, and the ugly...
First impressions are invaluable. Many tend to over compensate for who they really are. Most have an ego complex. Others are so annoying with characteristics that would drive anyone to the brink of insanity. Some are flawless and out of touch with the mirror's reflection of truth. Some don't have a clue. Which type are you?I would hope that I come across as friendly, confident, intelligent, open, honest, resourceful, caring and trustworthy. God is not through with me yet so be patient... Smile! At times, I think considering my mood at the moment, I might have given off the wrong impression. It also has to do with who the person forming the impression of you is to. The list of variables that govern this query are endless...
OK, let's be real clear here! I've hit every plateau...

It really all comes down to the situation at hand but many people have told me that when they first meet me I come across as quite stand offish and even a little bit arrogant! I am definitely a confident person and based on personal experiences in life I can agree 100% that I am very protective of myself at first. Once I have felt out the other person or people though my guard drops considerably and they start to realize very quickly that I am not even slightly arrogant at all. To be honest arrogance is a personality trait that I can't stand at all but for me it is an initial defense mechanism I guess. All I can ever be is ME!
