Hi! I tried to sign up for a Crewbux account. I was told that my IP address was already in their database although I don't recall registering for an account before. I contacted their support and told them about the issue. They replied and asked for my IP address. If you were in my shoes, would you give them your IP address? Should this info be confidential?

I think if you really want to sign up,maybe you should tell them you ip address. And you should let them tell you the account already in there database after you give them your Ip address.

I'd like to know if it would be dangerous for me to disclose this info. Would this make me vulnerable to hackers? Anyway, thanks for your response.

If your IP address is published by somebody and it is get by hacker ,then your computer maybe attack by hacker. But I think normal company have the duty to keep your IP address to be secret to others. So the possibility to be attack is small. It based the policy of crewbux and the things I talked above.

i'm not sure. i remember one time when i registered to another site which helps us earn by completing offer. i got the same message and so i contacted the administrator and he made an account for me. he never even asked for my IP address so it's kinda weird why they asked for yours. just be careful and think twice before doing a move.=D
