Who dreads the whole 'family thing' at christmas?

I do cos, I don't really like christmas, it is actually a bad holiday

I do! I do! I'd rather just sit at him with my husband and watch movies. Does that make me a grinch??

I HATE IT!!! My family is a bunch of crazy people and losers...my brothers hate my fiance, my father hates him too, my mother is busy working her butt off cooking while everyone acts like a bunch of vultures...then,at my fiance's house, his mother and I get along fine..his father is cool...his sisters annoy me and his uncles all want him with a latin girl, so they sit and say rude things all night..I hate it!!

I hate that every year I get asked the same questions over and over and over... but I love my family... so I don't dread it... just don't look forward to the conversations.

I dread going, but at the same time I miss people. I still know that they will make me frustrated but I would be sad if I didn't go.

hmmm...i pretty much stopped "celebrating" christmas when i was in high school after my parents divorce. and now it's easier with my dad living in asia and me here in the united states. and i haven't communicated with the rest of my family in years. but i do feel bad for my boyfriend because i won't go with him to spend christmas with his family. but they are fairly religious in how they celebrate and i would be really uncomfortable there.

I don't mind it as long as I do not have to drive far and my FIL behaves.

I like it, as appreciate the small amount of family I have left.

i do its allways a hassle.

OH god it really scares me, I use to hate Christmas, now I don't have tome to hate it....all sides of my family are crazy, i have to manuever, my inlaws, my divorced parents, my grandparents who all live in different cities all in and out of out home. and to add to the joys its my sons 1st birthday right on the 25th, so every one want to be here to celebrate.

I like to go visit with family but I don't stay to long....we make an excuse and go do something else after awhile.....

I used to but since i have a little boy now I welcome the family thing at Christmas !
