what do you usually reply to unfamiliar text message?

I usually don't respond to such messages....may be it is because I am a girl and don't want to get into unnecessary troubles. If I am in a boring mood, nothing to do, then I might respond asking 'May I know who is this?'. I use this polite way because I am very poor in saving numbers of all my friends and keepign it in order so that I think it might be from any of my friends whom I forgot to save the number. Thank you for responding to my discussion. I thought I should also respond to your discussions.

Usually I choose not,but if the content of the mesage excite my interest,maybe I would reply .I think it is possible that I will miss somthing important for me when I do nothing.

I also reply, who you? I used to receive a lot of messages from unknown sender. Sometimes, I know them but their numbers are not anymore in my phonebook, so the easiest answer is WHO YOU?

I don't reply at all especially if I don't know what the heck the person is talking about. I think it's a waste of load. I'd rather save it for a meaningful chikahan text to my friends :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Nope, I never reply to an unfamiliar text message. But I might reply it, if it's regarding some important matter. I will inform the sender that he/she has send their message to a wrong person. So the sender can send the message again to the right recipient.

i dont really respond to those unfamiliar txt messages..not unless my my name is being mentioned in the text.have a nice day

If it is spam I do not replied. I have not gotten text messages from people I do not know, tho I know of people getting personal text messages that would only make sense to the person it was meant for, kinda funny but I do not remember if they answer or not.

i would ask, "hu u?", just like you. then "where did you get my number?" "reply asap". That's how I send reply to an anonymous sms that I receive.

I don't reply the last time I did I ended up on the phone with a very nasty, wevry drunk guy; who sware he didn't send me a thing- Well how the heck did I get your number is all I could come with. So now I just ignore them.

I used to ignore these kind of messages coz its a waste of my time and I dont want my load to be spent to anyone how I dont know. Sometimes(in my history of texting thought) when fewer and fewer of my friends reload regularly, whenever I get messages though not registered on my phone, I try to reply just not to waste on the load coz the expiration really matters to me. Without any load expirations I dont think that I'll reply those messages.

I never bother ro respond to anonymous text messages, it's a waste of time and money in my opinion. If the sender what's something from me, he'd better take the time to write a signed message or call me.

I don't reply to text messages from a number that I don't know. I think it is just a waste of time and phone load. Oftentimes, if the sender has really some important to say, he/she will text again to introduce him/herself. If the message is obviously sent erroneously, I return the message and explain that they sent it to the wrong number.

I don't reply to unfamiliar text messages but if it seems like someone who knows you, I reply with "hu u?"

Hello rymebristol, well if I received txt messages from unfamiliar number normally I used to reply them with a question mark "?".

I wouldn't respond at all. lol. But if you think it wasn't meant for you - how about "huh?" That's universal.
