Do you ever feel like your kids are tag teaming you?

I have two children under the age of two. That right there should tell you I must be a little crazy. The almost two year old is in the process of potty training and it's going as well as can be expected. Most days. Today was not one of the better days. So in between dealing with cleaning up messy underpants, the baby (who is three months) was just crying inconsolably today. She is usually the quietest most content baby. So while I tried to comfort the baby, the two year old found her sidewalk chalk and colored all over the dining room walls. Then she found an old vhs tape and pulled all the tape out of it. Do you start to see the kind of day I had? :) It was back and forth all day. Fortunately everyone went to bed perfectly. It's funny how there are always those little redemptive moments in the day. How do you unwind after a day full of mommy fun?

I have 2 & 3 year olds, with a 10.5 month difference in age, so yes, I feel ya! I'd like to tell you it will get better as they grow, but really it just changes the way in which they "tag-team" ya! On nice days I will take them to the toddler park and let the run there little bodies into the ground so they can get rid of all the energy in way that will not get them in trouble. Once they and their big brother are in bed I usually read a book or just sit and listen to the quiet.
