I am living in a country philippines the text capital. I have to admit that I enjoy texting depending on the person. I remember when a prepaid system came out to the market that was 8 years ago. I spend 300 - 600 a month for a load.because sometimes I am not satisfied in texting I call often. today I am thankful that I work in a company where we are provided a monthly load at least I don't have to spend too much now compared before. and one thing unli text day are a very good way to budget the way we spend on loading.. As much as possible I will not spend money now for a load..

I also live in the philippines. i spend P300-P700 a month for load. it's a good thing we have unlimited services because i text often and send group messages. i dont let my cellphone reach zero-balance because there are times my mom gets mad when i dont text her. :)

I actually use 2 individual sim cards on two phone with different networks. I spend around P150 a month to load one sim card and i spend P300 for two months to load another sim card. Its quite expensive mentaining two sim cards but i think its ok with me because i also am using an inlimited promo to be able to save more in one phone. As for the other phone i could not use up the whole P300 load because i just load it 300 because it has longer load expiry and lot of people still text me on that number.

Hi dorothy09, Why the need to be testing all the time? I have a cellphone but only use it in emergency, I don't even like texting as I would rather speak to a person, I know its cheaper but it would be if you don't use it often, but hey! you are use to it so keep having fun with it. Tamara

I spend a minimum of $30au every fortnight for my mobile,I am on a plan where I get lots of freetime for calls at certain times. And no,I cannot live without it,it is always on me,in my pocket or in my bag,I always am able to ring my children and see where they are and my children are always able to contact me,also a couple of years ago,we went to the youyangs for a bushwalk, and my son got lost, thank goodness we both had a mobile phone for contact,I had to get the park rangers, who rang him and who were able to find him,and to think years ago we had no mobiles or cell phones, and today I certainly could not live without mine.isn't technology wonderful!

Hi Dorothy, I have a cell phone but only use for emergency and the odd text. I top up £10 about every six weeks so I am not a heavy user. It is lovely to know that I am contactable though wherever I am. Ellie :D
