Some people go to the moviehouse to relax and even sleep. How about you?

After my work sometimes I go and watch a movie, but it makes me sleepy maybe because I'm very tired and inside the movie house because it"s cold it makes me sleepy. Have a nice day!

Personally for me, I think people who go to the moviehouse (or cinema) to relax and sleep really don't know how to value money. Yes, the cinema might be a good place to sleep because of the darkness, but they should be well aware that they have paid a large sum of money to see the movie, so that should be the main aim and goal for them in the cinema. For myself, everytime I go and see a movie in the cinema, I make sure that I watch the movie from start right up to the end. Even if I drank too much fluids before the movie and really need to go to the toilet, I will withstand the urgency and still watch the movie till it's over before I go to the toilet. That's how dedicated I can become to make sure my money is utilized to the fullest. But nowadays, ticket prices are going up; I seldom go to the cinemas now and I prefer downloading movies off the internet (I know it's illegal, but I need to save money!) even though the quality might not be too good....well, it's a balance of compromising one factor and another....

I like going to the movies. Whenever I go to the cinemas, my intention is to watch the movie and not to sleep. I think it is a waste of money if I go into the movie house but later did not know the story because I was sleeping. Going to the movies is one type of entertainment for me and I often go with my husband. Even though there are people who sleep in a movie house, I don't understand why they do it. They can always relax and sleep in their own house and they don't have to pay anything, so why go to the movies, pay an expensive price to sleep on an uncomfortable chair. The only reason that I can think of is maybe the person does this because he or she wants some privacy when sitting in a cinema. In a cinema nobody can be seen and there is almost no communication between people because everybody is concentrating on the movie. So most probably this is the time when he or she can run away from his or her problems and be invisible for a while.

where i live movies can get pretty expensive to view (especially if you buy soda and snacks!) so to go and sleep there would be ridiculous because of the cost! i can get a better sleep at home! if i am going to a movie, i actually want to see it!

Not really. Coz i usually watch the movies that i love to watch. But there was a time when i was still dating my ex, there were movies that she liked and i didnt like, but we'd watch it anyway bacause she wants to. And one time, she really wanted us to watch "Eragon", and i just got home from working in the mountains for 3 straight days. I was really tired and sleepy and i was hoping we could just stay home and rest. But no no no, she wanted to watch a movie and she wanted me to tag along. So, we went. And i ended up sleeping the whole time.
