Has anyone noticed how more and more children are involved with their teachers?

Why are so many of these teachers becoming involved with their students? And I mean not just having a fling but having full relationships. Aren't they there to learn educational things? Has morality slipped this far? Also why is it more terrible when it's a woman instead of a man? Shouldn't they both be considered sick?
