lol I never heard that this would ever actually happend, but if it was Im assuming they wouldnt show it. Why would they? They would only have more expences with this so where's the point :)

Im sure they have everything ready, besides adds are at the begginig, noone watches them at the end. Though you do have a point. Cancelation would be best in this occassion but then again adds are paid, so if they'd cancel the movie all together they'd be owing some adds. I wonder what theaters actually do in such ocassion if it ever did happen.

Those who like watch movie, offcourse you can not go inside the theater without having ticket and movie industry getting low profit due to piracy.

Maybe you didn't understand my question. What i meant was what will if nobody buys the tickets for the movie, meaning no one has bought a single ticket and all the tickets are available for that particular movie, maybe is a boring movie and nobody wants to see it. And now my question was what will happen with that particular movie, do they still show it? even thou there is no one to see it or do they continue to show it on an empty seated theatre or movie house?

The movie is still shown. The theater is paid by how many times the movie is shown, regardless of how many people are in the theater. There could be zero or a packed house.

I believe they continue to show it because someone might come in late. I know that there are many theaters around us that have 12 - 20 screens in them and they are always showing movies. I have been in a theater and came in during the preview and we have been the only ones there. So in my opioion they will run the movie. It doesn't cost that much more to run it just a little bit more electricity.

Is kinda like funny but do they run the movie until the end? or maybe after realising that no one will show up they give up on it?
