Fever... i have one right now... when did you last have one?...

I woke up with a cough... and after a few hours i can feel my whole body burning... i have a fever... it has been years since i last have one... and i can't afford to be really sick right now... since i have a baby to take care of... and she might get whatever virus i have right now...
I already took a medicine... but still not feeling well... i think i need to take a rest for one whole day... just lie in bed and sleep... while my daughter is with her grandparents'...
How do you cope up when you are sick... do you have someone to take care of you?... what kind of medicine to you take?...

Today I had a temperature because I also have a cold. I am not coughing much. I slept all day yesterday and the day before. I was better today I did at least shower and have been on the computer today.

Good for you... i thought i was going to die last Saturday because my body was so weak... every inch hurts... but after sleeping the whole day... i felt a little better... my parents had to take care of my baby... so she was not with me for 2 days... and i really missed her...

Thank God you have your parents to help out and lets hope she does not get sick.
I am better but now my hubby has the cold. I am so sorry I shared it. I tried to be so careful and not share.

i always feel sick especially when there's a change in weather, my asthma attacks, but since i, too, cant afford to be sick coz i have 2 kids and a husband to attend to, i just think that im not really sick and just do my everyday work here at home. fortunately, "mind over matter" really works for me.

That used to work for me too... but this time... my body is just too weak... so i got sick over the weekend... and i still have a cough... but hopefully by the end of this week it will go away... and i will be able to sleep soundly at night...

It's been long time ago when I had a fever, my only problem is my PMS almost every month!
When I was single, I have my Parents and Sister who treats me like a baby when I am sick but I also drink a lot of water and take hot soup and eat often, force myself to eat so that I will feel better but I also love to rest!
here, hubby will give me meds right away even for PMS and I hate to take it so sometimes, I will pretend I took it so that there will be no argument! LOL!
just drink a lot of water and then have some hot soup and hopefully, tomorrow you will feel better![/i]

I am currently drinking a bottle of gatorade... and that usually helps... i have no appetite to eat... and i am to tired to cook... so i think i will just order take out before i go home... i hope they have delicious soup at chowking...

By the time I responded to your discussion which you started three weeks ago, I guess you are back to your normal self. Oh, this is the only time I manage to look for all your discussions! The last time I got a fever, it was a year ago. Whenever I have fever, my house will be upside down. My husband always ask me to lie down and rest, but sometimes I just can't do that when I see how the house is...But if I really cannot bear the fever, I will take two tablets of Panadol and get some sleep. It normally alright when I open my eyes the next day...

Yes, i am better now... no more fever... or cough or cold... a few day after i was free from my fever... my baby got blisters inside her mouth... and i had to take her to the doctor again... she was in such pain that she was not able to eat properly for 1 week... but she is fine now... and is eating a lot... i hope she will regain all the weight she lost...

I hope that you are feeling better. I had a fever on Monday and had to leave work early with the flu. I dont usually take medicine if I can help it, and generall yI take care of myself.

Well, i thought i was about to die last Saturday because my fever was so high... reaching 40 degrees celsius... and my throat hurt so bad... my daughter had to stay with my parent the whole day because i simply cannot take care of her... and my in-laws brought me food for lunch and dinner... thank God they are so kind...

My baby just came out from fever and cough so i think her immune system is way better... but i don't kiss her... and i frequently wash my hands... i already took some medicine and it made me feel a little better... although i still have a fever...

As i am staying away from my family due my Job, right now there is no one to take care of me if i am sick. Just 2 weeks back i was suffering from fever. A bit of cold too. It was strange that i use wake up in morning normally, but then fever used to start after afternoon. With whole body pain not able to walk too. Anyways now i have recovered from that. Also wish you 'Get well soon'.

Good thing you are now feeling well... my main problem is my daughter... she just came out from a viral infection... and i am afraid she might get whatever it is that i have... well... i think i need to take more medicine...
