I do conserve water in my daily life, though we have the opportunity to enjoy surplus water. This water is a valuable thing. And I do it by preventing wastage of water. I always switch off the tap after using it.

I have got water harvestment system in my entire township and locality. I just moved in to this newly constructed home Water from my kitchen sink goes in to the kitchen garden. where as from my bath goes for filteration by natural measures from where its passed on to my garden frontal. Apart from that we use bath tub and swimming pool rarely. Most often we use quick showers.

I always try to conserve water, as it is required by our future generations. Here are some tips to conserve this natural resource. 1. Do not open the tap and keep brushing while water is flowing. 2. Harvest rain water. 3. Keep your clothes clean as far as possible. 4. Pour the used water ( after washing vegetables, etc...) to the plants and trees. 5. Recycle the water if possible.

HI, Here in the U.S. water conservation by individuals in their homes isn't even considered most of the time. As a nation, we have been spoiled to some degree by the abundance of our resources. I believe that responsible individuals should do what they can to conserve resources for the sake of the planet and future generations. I know people who will drive to the store for a loaf of bread, when they could walk the block or two, save some gas and get some exercise in the process. As far as conserving water, (or anything for that matter), we need to bring our children up in a home environment that teaches the value of what the earth gives us and how to preserve and conserve. In our house, no water running while teeth are brushed. We make sure that the water level on the washing machine is appropriate to the size of the load being washed. Rain water is collected for use in the garden and for other outdoor projects requiring water. Soon, we plan to replace our toilet with one of the newer, low water use type. We have a dishwasher, but we rarely use it. smiles, inkling

here in oz we have 4 minute showers, put a bottle of water in the cistern so you don't flush so much, put a bucket in the shower to catch the cold water before the hot cuts in, which is used for the garden.

I seldom conserve water. As it is very inconvenient to carry the water around the house.

The very valuable way conservation is the rain water harvesting. It is compulsory, in our city every building should have it. First they have to dig a hole for 3*3*3 in cubic and in that hole they have to pour a bore up to 12 feet and fix a pipe on that hole . plumbing the pipe in the way that all the water flow to the hole and all the water goes to the ground. this is big success in our state. The ground water level is increased and its a very successful project by the government.

Yes, we always do because not only we can save from the bill, we can also be sure that water will still be available to us. There are so many efforts in the philippines to conserve water. The school is the foremost advocate of conserving not only water but other resources as well. Media too help from time to time.
