Use your blender.. Your blender is a powerful tool to help you create a leaner body. Smoothies--blended mixtures of milk,low-fat yogurt,ice and other good stuff--can serve as meal subtitutions and potent snacks.They require little prep time,theyre filling,and they taste like dessert if you add berries,flavored whey powder or peanut butter.Drink an 8ounce smoothie for breakfast,or as a snack b4 or after workout.

That is a really good idea, but can also backfire on you if you are not careful. Many smoothies are chock full of calories! When we make smoothies we use low fat yogurt and fresh fruit. I have seen others make smoothies that included chocolate syrup, sugar, and other high calorie items. Also, 8 ounces is a good amount of smoothie to drink, but often times if you buy a smoothie at a restaurant you are getting much more than that. Smoothies are great for your health if taken in moderation!
