cats or dogs?

Dogs need more care, as far as walking them bathing them and they don't cover up their own do's, where as a cat is happy just to be going around by themselves, they don't need walking or bathing and they cover up their own do's...

This is a very good question,and it is a hard question to answer because I am both a cat and dog person,I like dogs because they come when they are called,they protect their owners and homes,they can be trained,and they are said to be mans best friend,and then I like cats because they protect the house from mice and other vermin that try to get in,they are very loving,and they make good companions since they spend most of their time laying around,so I do not think I could pick one over the other,because my family has always had both cats and dogs,and I love them all the same.

I prefer dogs. I don't hate cats but I prefer dogs by far. I think they are more fun and loyal than cats. I can't stand the cats odour.

I like cat. I'm not sure why you find them smelly. The one I used to have is not. Compared to dogs, it might not be as understanding and obedient to its master, but to certain extent, it has. When I called it, it will come to my side. And sit quietly beside me when I was busy doing something.
