Di d you buy an ear phone separately for enjoying music better?

Now a days the ear phones which come with some of the brands of music players (mp3, mp4, schuffle, ...) are not that good. i don't know about you but certainly i was forced to change the ear phone to enjoy the music better. i always look for better stereo and good balance between bass and treble. the ear phone that came with my mp3 player was not the best so i went in for the sony ear phone.
How about you? Share your experience.

NOpe, because my ear will hurt if i were to use an earphone to listen to music.. Thus, i will always play the songs thru the loud speaker.. haha ^_^ ANd most of the time, i will only play the songs when the surroundings are quiet, and i will play it softly so as not to disturb other ple.. hehe
ANd if my surroundings is too noisy, i dun see any point in playing my music when i wont even get to hear them properly.. lol
