I love cheese... I love memories about cheese... I love eating cheese... And I'm a cheesehead... Now living in NC but originally from GB WI... One of my favourite memories about cheese, is when My parents obtained 10 pounds of provolone somehow. and they kept trying to feed it to me and my brothers. and we learned to HATE it. omg how we came to hate it XD whenever mom offered to make us grilled cheese when we were hungry it was a trick question and I always asked back is it yellow or white cheese? because I knew american and chedders, the kinds i liked most were yellow, and the one I didnt like was white. Any of you have any memories involving cheese? the cheese doesnt have to be the special thing it could be a special memory with your parents or spouse or kids or whoever :P just memories especially if they involve cheese :D

We love good cheese here too,but the only thing is that we just like hard cheese, the good mature cheddar type.I have tried many different types of cheeses but always go back to my favourite.I cannot get along with Stilton or Gorgonzola,it is far too salty for me,and the Bries are far too slimy for me.I have a cousin who works in a cheese factory, and the last time she came to visit me she bought a selection of cheeses in a cold bag for me,I tried a few but not for me,Stilton and apricot, wensleydale and cranberries, and there was even a Christmas pudding cheese.I am sorry to say that I had to give the larger part of it away to friends and neighbours.I do love cream cheese though ,the Philadelphia style cheese,so good in a sandwich.

When I was young, we used to go stay with my grandparents for a week during the summer. At that time they had a government program that gave away cheese, butter and peanut butter. I LOVED that cheese. My grandparents worked during the day, and back then, kids stayed at home, if they were 6 or 7 years old. I was at least that. One day I decided I was going to make tortillas,(don't know where I got the idea that I knew how to make them) I ended up slicing some of the cheese and putting it between two tortillas, and making grilled cheese out of them. It was actually pretty good. My siblings asked for them again the next day. I hate Provolone, by the way.
